Anime Zero tier list
All release weapons grouped by rarity tier — a rarity-first guide backed by official pity numbers, plus the synergy pairs that matter more than raw tier.
Rarity sets the tier — but the right pairing beats a lonely higher tier.
The developer does not publish official weapon rankings or damage tables, so tiers below mirror the gacha rarity ladder (with its verified pity numbers). This is a meta snapshot as of the October 2 patch, not an official ranking — balance patches move weapons between tiers.

Synergy pairs (official)
Verified from the official October 2 patch notes: equipping both weapons of a pair in your two slots grants the bonus. Every other combination gets +5% damage.
- Sukuna + Alucard — +10% damage
- Luffy + Shanks — +15% max health
- Goku + Killua — -10% cooldowns
- Juuzou + Nagumo — +20% ult charge
- Guts + Saber — +5% damage, +8% max health
- Miyabi + Saber — +8% speed, -5% cooldowns
- Any other pair — +5% damage
Why these weapons rank where they do
- Sukuna — a Mythic with AoE pressure and an ult that tracks; the poster carry of the release pool
- Shanks — moved from Mythic to Arcane on release day, so he hits like an A-tier at the Arcane pity
- Miyabi — Zenless-tier with her own server-wide announcement; pairing with Saber trades raw damage for speed and cooldowns
- Guts — Mythic bruiser whose skill 2 cooldown was doubled to 16s in the October 2 patch; pair with Saber for the health boost
- Goku + Killua — the cooldown pair for players who chain skills instead of raw stats
