Anime Zero’s gacha has five rarity tiers. The developer does not publish roll rates, but the pity system is official and was rebalanced in the October 2 patch — here are the verified numbers and what they mean for your spins.
The rarity ladder
Low to high: Epic → Legendary → Mythic → Arcane → Zenless.
The release pool ships 11 weapons across these five tiers (see the weapon database). Rolling a Zenless announces you to the entire server.
Pity numbers (verified, October 2 patch)
| Tier | Pity |
|---|---|
| Mythic | 175 |
| Arcane | 250 |
| Zenless | 2,750 |
Pity guarantees the tier within that many pulls since your last qualifying pull. Epic and Legendary have no published pity.
How the pity change works
The October 2 hotfix changed pity from a lucky-spin-only counter to a total-pulls counter: every regular spin you make now counts toward Mythic, Arcane and Zenless pity. Before the change, only lucky spins counted, which made the Zenless pity practically unreachable for players who didn’t hoard lucky spins.
Miyabi, the release pool’s Zenless, had her pity set to 3,500 on October 2 — the initial 12,500 value shipped by mistake and was corrected within the hour, with the BIGTYPO code (100 lucky spins) as an apology.
What each tier is worth
- Epic — starter weapons. Replace them as soon as you land a Legendary.
- Legendary — the minimum target for a new account before your first dungeon run.
- Mythic (175 pity) — the pool’s workhorse tier: Sukuna, Goku, Guts and most of the release cast live here.
- Arcane (250 pity) — top-shelf pulls. Shanks was moved down from Mythic to Arcane on release day, so the Arcane tier punches above its weight.
- Zenless (2,750 pity) — Miyabi, and Cataclysm per gameplay footage. One Zenless defines an account.
Spin economy
- AFK chamber: one lucky spin every 15 minutes — that’s 96 spins a day of pure idle time, plus 10 coins/second and 50 gems every two minutes.
- Codes: compensation codes regularly pay 100 spins at once (BIGTYPO), and quest/achievement rewards add more.
- Since every spin counts toward pity, there is no “wasted” spin — spend them steadily rather than hoarding.
